 Get ready, friends, for some really fun wedding photos by Chelsea B. Photographyof Brittany and Erik's sweet Southern wedding reception at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill! It was definitely a pleasure working with Brittany during the planning phases of her reception because she is so genuinelysweet. After graduating from UT this spring, Brittany became a full-time Young Life staff member. And, what do you know? Mynieceis in one of Brittany's high school groups! She tells me "Brittany is awesome!" |

Marble Slab Creamery Will Give Away Free Scoop of Red Velvet Ice Cream To help celebrate the launch of Marble Slab Creamery's newRed Velvet Ice Cream(making its debut in stores on Friday, July 8), we've declared Monday, July 11, 2011,Red Head Appreciation Day.
On Monday, July 11, 2011, from 3-6 p.m. we'll be giving away a free scoop of Red Velvet Ice Cream to anyone who has red hair, no matter if its natural, dyed or a wig.*

Thanks so, so much to our Fountain City Marble Slab friends and neighbors who came out to help us celebrate our fifth business anniversary a couple of weeks ago! The entire day was fun-filled with local celebrity scoopers Russell Biven and Steve Phillips (WBIR) and Matt Hinkin (WATE meterologist), The Knoxville Photo Booth, plenty of ice cream treats, and our special guests from Emerald Youth Foundation. Marble Slab Creamery will celebrate their fifth business anniversary for their Fountain City store in Knoxville, TN on Tuesday, April 19. The creamery, located at 4885 North Broadway is owned by John and Sheila Thigpen. In celebration of this milestone, 20 percent of the day’s proceeds will be donated toThe Emerald Youth Foundation, a neighborhood Christian, urban youth ministry that serves over 1,200 students each year. “We are very blessed to be a part of this community,” said owner John Thigpen, “and we wanted to express our appreciation to the folks in this neighborhood for their support of our business by giving to a charity that specifically serves North Knoxville. |
